Barcelona’s College of Industrial Technical Engineers (CETIB) paid homage to its members who have been linked to the college for over 25 and 50 years in a ceremony at which cava from our winery was served: the Gran Reserva Extra Brut.

Our winery recently had the opportunity to participate in a tasting at the Collegeof Pharmacistsand to spread the word about our cavas amongst the thirty members who attended.

Our manager, Josep Mª Estruch, gave an interview to the website Vinum.cat, in which he spoke about his experience in the sector of online sales and about the recent incursion of our cellar into social networks.

At Celler Vell we are celebrating the fact that the arrival of new technologies has resulted in such novel events as Cava&Twitts: monthly get-togethers which aim to combine Cava with the Twitter social network. On this occasion, our Extra Brut Rosé was chosen to accompany the event.

Cavas Celler Vell presented three of our most iconic cavas for the first time at the Salón del Cava Reserva & Gran Reserva (Cava Reserva and Gran Reserva Trade Fair) held at the Hotel Villa Magna in Madrid. The cavas presented were the Brut Nature Reserva, the house’s best-selling cava, the Cuvée Les Solanes Nature Reserva, our top-of-the-range cava and the Gran Reserva Extra Brut, with its new look, very well received by all the attendees.

There are only a few days to go until the celebrations for San Juan night, known for being the shortest and most magical of the year. On a night like this there are always firecrackers and large bonfires, and, even more so, the traditional San Juan “coca” pastries accompanied by a fine cava.

The Enolia trade fair is devoted exclusively to food and drink products from the "gourmet" range and is held in San Sebastian.

On the 23^rd of November, Celler Vell offered a tasting of our Estruch Brut Nature cava as part of the 1^st “Aula de Gust” (Tasting Class), a select gastronomic event organised by Cinto Puig of Celler de Ullastrell.
